You could easily stroll past this homey alcove, but you sure wouldn’t want to. Founded in 2015 by local musician and Belmont graduate, Meredith Mazie, ABEDNEGO is a goldmine of “city-chic meets Nashville comfort” attire and accessories. Take it from us, shopping here is a test of restraint.
The crisp and clean, boho-inspired decor gives the store a “grown-up Urban Outfitters” vibe. Whitewashed walls, tribal print accents, and enough succulents to fill a greenhouse create a perfect alternative aura. While the flawless interior alone is enough to want to check out ABEDNEGO, the real draw is what's on the hangers. Meticulously selected by the owner herself, the pieces are modernly-mod with a folksy twist.

Looking to spice up your weekly workwear rotation? Try adding a few of their eccentric $10 lapel pins to spice up a boring blazer (the “pizza lover” and “fries before guys” pins are our personal favorites). Gifting the girl who has everything? An abstract dog bowl for $18 will do just the trick. Going on a date? There's little room to go wrong with a shamrock green wrap dress for $68.
While womenswear is their strong suit, ABEDNEGO aims to please all, stocking a small but thoughtfully-chosen selection of menswear and gifts. The minimalist loft like-space is the perfect backdrop for their refined jumble of snug cardigans and zany stationary. Come for the mumus, menswear, or just the good vibes….you’ll probably end up killing an hour...or two...or three ;).
