If you haven’t heard of ABLE yet, you can thank us for the introduction. What started in 2010 as a simple social enterprise selling scarves has since expanded into one of Nashville’s top boutiques. Their easy-breezy leather goods and accessories have been spotted on the likes of Taylor Swift, Emma Roberts, Amy Adams….need we continue?
An ethical fashion brand, ABLE employs, empowers, and educates women so they can earn a living, with the goal of breaking the cycle of poverty. In addition to a heartwarming mission, they also happen to produce an insanely-cute selection of effortless sandals, saddle bags, and silk scarves.

Elegantly-uncomplicated, ABLE’s apparel covers the closet-staple basics like boyfriend jeans and v-neck tees. Their real draw though is their signature handbags in a range of handcrafted materials. If you want your bag to look like the day you bought it for its whole life, then try their Toronado leather. Fond of more of a “worn-in” look? Apalusa leather was made for you. And if practicality is your primary concern, then their classic canvas material will be your best friend.
If ABLE’s touching mission doesn’t already make you want to run up your credit card, then a trip to their storefront in The Nations will. A few leather chaises, cowhide rugs, and a light-up “you’re solid gold” sign decorate the spacious sales-floor. Minimal and refreshing, the neutral-toned lounge focuses on highlighting their products by keeping the decor barebones. If it isn’t already clear, we’re pretty obsessed with ABLE.
