Alexis + Bolt

Meander through historic Germantown long enough and you’re bound to stumble upon the adorable home-turned-storefront, Alexis + Bolt. Founded in 2017, this under-the-radar spunky gem is a fan favorite in the fashion community. Show us another boutique in Nashville that serves complimentary wine and cheese while you shop AND is so trendy that you’re pretty much guaranteed to emerge with armfuls of shopping bags and a mile long receipt. Oh right, it doesn’t exist.

What exactly does “home-turned-storefront” mean you may ask? Bedrooms turned dress displays, a living room for lounging while you browse, and a kitchen fully stocked with beers and mimosa supplies (on the house of course). Each room is dedicated to a specific niche (womenswear, menswear, gifts, etc.) so wander through yourself or get a guided tour from the friendly shop dog, Charlie.

           

Alexis + Bolt certainly isn’t your mother's store, but if you were to bring her, she would probably leave looking pretty fantastic. Fan favorite brands like Minkpink, Pistola, and Dolce Vita grace their shelves alongside up-and-coming local designers. Specializing in funky finds from womenswear to home goods (we’re looking at you snake-shaped bottle opener), they’ve got just about everything a Nashville girl, guy, (or dog) could ever need.

We think it's safe to say that shopping at Alexis + Bolt will raise the bar for your boutique-shopping standards, which is one of the reasons why they earned such a high score. Fair warning: after a shopping trip here, you’re likely to leave with a new sundress or two, leather sneakers for the man in your life, cocktail-scented candles for your girlfriends, and probably even a denim jacket for your dog.
