Offering men’s clothing and accessories, with a few lifestyle knick knacks sprinkled in, Beige is a lesson in effortless French chic. A wealth of preppy basics, trendy outerwear, and functional accessories, it’s a one-stop-shop for professional habiliment and everyday attire alike. The prices are on the higher side, but so is the quality, and the store itself boasts top notch decor to match.

The entire facade of the boutique is windows, which means it's cozy but meticulously designed interior is flooded with natural light. At the front of the store, you’ll find raw wood shelves and display tables, which might be filled with minimalist stationery by Armorial or topped with issues of Brutus (a Japanese men’s magazine) or photo books. White racks filled with the aforementioned clothing—monochromatic sweatpants and crewnecks by Camber USA, colorful cable knit sweaters by Inis Meain, checked wool blazers by Drake’s, striped button-ups by their namesake label Beige, Mandarin collar jackets by Haversack, and more—line the left wall and lead into a thoroughly modern back area.

Featuring white tiling on the walls that complements the shop’s cement floors and sky blue ceiling, the rear space plays home to additional reading materials as well as a selection of men’s accessories. You might find anything from yellow-lensed aviators by Jacques Marie Mage to woven elastic belts by L’Aiglon to patterned bucket hats by Lock & Co., along with leather Merola gloves and rubber-and-canvas ZDA sneakers.

While Beige does carry the occasional punchy print—a pink, yellow, green, and blue knitted vest by Jamieson’s, for example—it’s definitely a spot for the more pared down, classic shopper who wants to infuse their wardrobe with a touch of Parisian cool.
