If you learn anything from your shopping excursion to Cloak and Dagger, it’s that they don’t make promises they can’t keep…..their funky vintage aesthetic finds are cute enough to make your ex come crawling back.

Cloak and Dagger started in 2006 with the goal of filling the void in the industry of fun and comfortable clothing that is still chic and refined without sacrificing quality. Think of their style as a delicious gumbo of French new wave, 60s workwear, ranch-inspired funk, and Parisian chic. Yeah, basically the combo you never knew you needed until now. 

Carve out ample time to explore this East-Village gem, because chances are you’ll be mesmerized by the wall of patent-leather Mary Janes, racks of vintage floral midi dresses, or spend an hour trying on every single pair of chunky 60’s mega-sunglasses. 

         

The neon “Cute shit” sign over the register certainly rings true. With something for everyone from the NYU girl with a quirky flair to the young professional looking to stand out in the office, Cloak and Dagger caters the ultimate mix of small, women-owned, ethically sourced labels with some vintage finds thrown in. Peruse all your favorite brands like Faithfull the Brand, Sugarhigh Lovestoned, and Sessun or try out something new like a pair of Carel loafers (they’re the only store in the US that carries them!!).
