You’d be hard pressed to find a fashion store that carries the fury of a woman. Such is Coggles, the British fashion retailer with a deliciously vengeful backstory.

Starting life in 1974 in York, England by Victoria Bage, Coggles was named after a secretary Bage’s husband allegedly had an affair with. Bage divorced her husband and built a public reminder of his mistake: a fine luxury store that served coffee and fashion goods to its discerning customers. In 2006, seeing the rise of e-commerce, Coggles launched its online store. It has since gone on to receive multiple awards in the fashion retail space. In 2013, it was acquired by The Hut Group.

With selections ranging from menswear and womenswear to beauty and homeware, Coggles’ e-commerce store is jam-packed. Yet it manages to be clean, with crisp photography and magnetic brand copy that draws you in to explore the fashion edits.

There’s a handful of brands to choose from—the British fashion retailer currently boasts at least 350 designers—but the inventory isn’t so massive that it becomes stressful to browse through. Expect the usual heavyweights, such as Balmain, Saint Laurent, and Gucci, as well as hip names of the 21st century, such as Self-Portrait, Frame, and Alexander Wang.

Should you be in doubt while shopping, customer representatives are on standby and ready to help via live chat.

Apart from luxury goods, quality lifestyle content is at the heart of Coggles. Its LIFE section is where you can find stories about street style, design, food, and travel. More than a retailer, Coggles is out to prove that it’s a destination for those who seek conversations on culture and design.
