Stepping into FARM Rio’s flagship store feels a little bit like stepping into a beach party with a florals-only dress code. Founded in Brazil and encapsulating the country’s bright, vibrant, and optimistic spirit, this makes complete sense. Known for its punchy botanical prints, FARM Rio is not to be missed by anyone who dresses for both glamour and fun.

Located in SoHo, the store is downtown New York City’s very own slice of paradise. The large, airy space is lit with overhead orb lighting and boasts fresh white and blue walls. In one part of the store, the floors are covered in sand, with walkways made of circles of wood ensuring safe passage. Where there’s solid ground, you’ll find light wooden floors underfoot and can find seating in one of two areas enclosed by tents made from fishing nets and rope. Throughout the space, you’ll spot display tables emblazoned with playful graphic designs; tropical potted greenery of every kind; raw wood shelving; and sculptures, lighting fixtures, and wall decor with a jungle-y edge. Ample dressing rooms ensure you can try on the well-displayed styles with ease, and full-length mirrors can be found throughout the store.

Once you’ve finished gaping at their thoughtful decor, you can start perusing FARM Rio’s offerings, which feel right at home within the space thanks to their kaleidoscopic botanical prints. Grab a long sleeved maxi covered with micro florals if you’re shopping for a fall-appropriate frock, or, for something more island-ready, opt for a breezy mini boasting a colorful leopard print. Looking for something more casual? The store also offers an ace selection of Levi’s denim, which pairs excellently well with their own chunky knit sweaters and whimsical graphic tees. To finish off your look, go bold with a banana print scarf, beaded sneakers, and a piece of beaded jewelry handcrafted by the Yawanawa, an indigeous people of Brazil. Everything is reasonably priced, so why not go wild?
