In this day and age, it’s impossible not to scroll through Instagram and wonder where your favorite indie lifestyle bloggers are buying their picture-perfect home decor and boho-chic ‘fits. We’ll let you in on a little secret: they’re probably getting it at General Store.

Established in 2009 by artists Serena Mitnik-Miller and Mason St. Peter, General Store is a quirky amalgamation of works from creative minds and craftsmen both local and abroad. Specializing in peculiar finds from small businesses with a sprinkle of vintage here and there, they sell jewelry, pottery, hanging planters, apparel, art supplies...pretty much everything under the sun.
With IG-worthy earthy interiors and woodwork, the store itself is a hipster paradise. Peruse their selection of hand-painted greeting cards while walking through a dome-shaped tunnel or head out back to the garden and take a breather in their adorable greenhouse. It wouldn't surprise us if pictures of their artfully-designed space where to find their way into the glossy pages of Architectural Digest.
If we had an endless budget, we could easily spend it all at General Store. Treasures this trendy don’t come cheap; a pair of pastel pink overalls will set you back about $400 while 100% Ethiopean-cotton bath towels will run you $74 a pop. Yes, it's expensive, but when we’re talking stunning brass pepper mills imported from Greece, that $85 is well spent. Whether you’re just window shopping or looking to do some serious damage, General Store is one store that’s always a hit.
