Goldymama

If you only have the time to visit one vintage shop in Paris (which we hope that's never the case) then we say visit Goldymama. Known for its selection of '50s skirts, funky '70s tops, and 'fits your cool aunt would have definitely rocked back in the '60s, Goldymama is a second-hand gold mine.

           

While the olive green exterior and hot pink signage can be seen from all the way down the block,  the real magic happens when you step inside. With black and white checkered print floors, palm-print wallpaper,  and vintage hand-stitched rugs, this sensory overload of a shop is not for the faint of heart. Sequin gowns from the '20s and pillbox hats from the '30s in every color imaginable are crammed among overstuffed velvet chairs, wigged mannequins, and crystal chandeliers. Needless to say, the store looks like something out of an old film.

Whether you're looking for something to wear to a costume party, a gift for the girl who has everything, or just looking for a little Saturday afternoon treasure hunt,  you're bound to find something at Goldymama every time you visit. Some standouts in their impressive lineup include poodle skirts in every color imaginable, power suits for every day of the week, and '70s bell-bottoms that make you wish it was still the Disco era.  Oh, and on top of all of that, they also have an in-store candy bar. Sugar and shopping, oh the danger.
