What do Gwyneth Paltrow, Carrie Underwood, and Nicole Kidman all have in common? Besides being a bunch of blonde boss-women, they all also happen to be fans of Green Hill’s ultra-luxe clothing destination, H. Audrey.
Holly Williams, musician, entrepreneur, and daughter of country-legend Hank Williams Jr, founded H. Audrey in 2007 with the goal of bringing the global fashion scene to the homey heart of Nashville. Don’t expect rhinestones and cowboy hats, what you’ll find on their well-edited shelves have the likes of the garments on the glossy pages of Vogue or Elle. Slick snakeskin powersuits, structured felt fedoras, and slinky satin slip-dresses…..can you say heart-eyes?

It may be tempting to run rampant in the racks of Helmut Lang and Zimmerman, but we’d advise sitting down before daring to take a peek at the price tags. A basic button-up will set you back somewhere around $300 while a python bowler bag or tan teddy coat will run you well into the $1000 range. Fear not though budget-shoppers, the loft area is home to deep discounts and hard-to-come-by markdowns on mega-designer labels. We’ve never met a 75% off section we didn’t like.
The spacious studio could easily be compared to an upscale NYC art exhibit, with a clientele of Bergdorfs, Barney’s, and Bendel’s loyalists to match. Who knows, you might even find yourself fighting over the last pair of size 8 Golden Goose sneakers with Sheryl Crow.
