JOZ Amsterdam

Founded by Joyce Kamerling, JOZ originally started out as one of the first beachwear shops in Holland. Exploding in popularity within a few months, the store quickly developed into a modern and sophisticated everyday-wear shop...and our closets are thankful for that.

           

Curating an affordable range of everything from cardigans to calfskin boots to coffee table books, JOZ is a retail nirvana for shopaholics all around. Puff-sleeve peasant tops fit for meetings and girls night out? Check. Emerald-green strappy sandals to spice up a corporate daily ensemble? Done. A metallic-silver puffer-coat to turn heads in the dead of winter? They’ve got that too. For almost all situations, JOZ has something to fit the bill.

While Amsterdam isn’t exactly known as the “sunshine city”, one step into JOZ and the cloudy skies and dreary weather will instantly melt away. While their curation skews towards workwear and city-chic apparel, the store itself is somewhat of a resort-like oasis. Walls plastered in tropical-printed wallpaper, wooden stools dotting the sales floor and an abundance of lush greenery.

And the cherry on top? Whether you’re purchasing an entirely new wardrobe or just a cute accessory, each and every purchase is wrapped up in an adorable reusable tote with a small raincoat. It’s the little things.
