When you think “hotel gift-shop”, kitschy plastic keychains, tacky shot glasses, and a few racks of faded postcards may come to mind. Well, think again. Keep Shop located in the Noelle hotel in downtown Nashville curates a vibrant assortment of ever-changing clothing, colorful accessories, and quirky home goods. It’s anything but touristy.

A boutique within a boutique hotel, the store is the brainchild of one of Nashville’s most recognizable names in the creative scene, Libby Callaway. Hand selecting each and every piece that makes it to the sales floor, the majority of what you’ll find are goods designed and created by the best of the best of the city’s artists, makers, and creatives. If you’re lucky, you may even find a few vintage pieces from Libby’s own personal collection.
Beautiful washed silk robes and pullover tops made of recyled scraps by Jamie and Jones, vintage beaded flapper bags from the twenties, and hydrating lemon facial oil created exclusively for the shop by Lemon Laine are just a handful of the unique items they stock. And if you're looking to snag a few forgotten toiletries? They’ve got a tube of French toothpaste from Lebon and organic lavender deodorant waiting for you.
Styled with sophistication, Libby claims that “You could walk into Keep Shop and other than the vintage shirts that say ‘Tennessee’ on them, nothing would make you think that you are in Nashville.” Vintage damasque wallpaper, mahoghany shelving, and an overall sexy ambiance, the store itself oozes luxury. Needless to say, people coming down from their hotel rooms to grab an Advil or pint of ice cream are going to be a little surprised ;)
