Founded by former New York magazine fashion editor Beth Buccini in 1999, Kirna Zabete helped put Soho on the fashion retail map in the new millennium; while so many other boutiques in the neighborhood have come and gone, two decades later, KZ continues to thrive in its expansive home (10,000 square feet!) on busy Broome Street.

There is an innate joy in shopping at this luxury multi-brand destination. For starters, we were offered a drink at 11:45 a.m. – that, my friends, is Customer. Service. The atmosphere is also celebratory: fuchsia pillars soar to the ceiling, chic modern furniture offers ample seating for trying on shoes, and a wall of colorful neon signs upon entry delivers all the #positivevibes (if you want to take home a piece of the décor, Locomocean neon is also in stock!).

As if the groovy digs weren’t enough, the range of merchandise is pretty much unrivaled: Big interview? How about an Alex Mill blazer? Date night? How about a Monse twisted bustier top? Bachelorette party in Vegas? How about an RTA mermaid-sequin mini? Just won the lottery? How about the entire selection of Bottega Veneta?! (#treatyoself)

With spring in the air in NYC, we were especially drawn to the racks of romantic frocks from Black Iris and Zimmermann, while the summer-perfect selection of maxi dresses and swimwear from our favorite Colombian brand, Agua Bendita, kind of made us want to fast forward to Memorial Day weekend.

If you’re looking for something a little more casual, jeans from Mother and Trave Denim, and Re/Done’s coveted vintage graphic tees have got you covered. With gift-able items like Christian Lacroix notebooks ($10-25), everyone can take home a little piece of the Kirna Zabete experience.
