Kith

You probably already know it. You’ve probably already shopped it. And you probably already love it…...Kith just has that kind of effect on people. But if you haven’t visited the Kith store in SoHo, then you really haven’t experienced all they have to offer.

           

Founded in 2010 by sneaker designer Ronnie Fieg, Kith may be a household name in the streetwear game, but the true roots of Kith fledge far beyond sneakers and sweatshirts. Offering their own private label in addition to labels all over the fashion spectrum - from Alexander Wang to Adidas - Kith lets no one aesthetic define their vision. The same rings true for their SoHo flagship store, which happens to double as an uber-trendy ice cream shop as well.

While the simple brown brick exterior on Lafayette may seem a little underwhelming, don’t let it deter you from stopping inside. One foot in the door and you’re housed in a light-filled, sneaker showroom that looks like a spaceship in the best way possible. Trainers of every hue line the walls floor-to-ceiling, while bomber jackets and graphic tees hang meticulously from ultra-modern displays.

If you’re looking for a toss-around pair of kicks to throw on while you’re walking the dog in the AM or while you're heading out for a late-night bodega run, then Kith might not be the place for your shopping needs. But if you’re looking for a head-turning, stop-you-in-the-street type 'fit with a fresh pair of sneaks to match, then you’ll be in good hands here.
