When Cheng Qu and Keven McDermott partnered in 2019, they set out to accomplish the impossible – marry a minimalist aesthetic to an avant-garde flair in their newest fashion collaboration, Layers London.

Sourcing the freshest designers from around the world and bringing together fashion, music, art, and literature, Layers London is a beautiful conceptual storefront located in Mayfair. A curation boasting both well-known names like 3.1, Phillip Lim, and Maison Margiela, as well as up-and-coming labels like Guidi and By Walid, Layers London is the epitome of an edgy minimalist shopping destination.
Conveniently located next to the finest names in luxury fashion, Layers London hosts its stunning showroom in a period building on Albemarle Street. With minimalism at the core of its design philosophy, its expert curation sits against the backdrop of Greek-inspired columns, barely-there hanging racks, and ultramodern seats. We’ve never seen concrete floors look so chic.
Beautifully capturing the balance between craftsmanship and modernity, Cheng and Keven have ingrained their slogan, “art becomes fashion, fashion becomes art”, into all aspects of their shopping experience. For luxury, minimalism, and a hint of cutting-edge fashion, Layers London comes prepared to wow us with its curation of cool, avant-garde pieces.
