Mes Desmoiselles

Bohemian wears with a French sensibility—that’s what you’ll find at Mes Demoiselles. From wide-brimmed hats to floral frocks to velvet kimono coats, the boutique’s namesake label—the only one it carries—is for the free spirit in all of us.

           

While it boasts locations all throughout Paris, Mes Demoiselles' Odéon location is the one to hit. Featuring large windows in the back and front, hardwood floors, and cream walls with accents of exposed stone, its foundations make for the perfect backdrop for the rest of its carefree decor. On the floor, mismatched rugs featuring sequins and delicate prints add color and coziness, while fairy lights, golden clothing racks, and decorative pom-pom garlands add whimsy. In the back, you’ll find dressing rooms and a large oval mirror to help ensure all your picks fit just right.

Start by picking out one of their many ruffled dresses. Maxis and minis, slinky silks and embellished cottons—whatever you’re looking for, they’ve got you covered. Then, opt for a khaki trench-style coat or, for something breezier, a faux shearling vest. Finish off your look with a pair of their knee-high suede heeled booties, a patterned silk scarf that can be wrapped around your neck or head, and a studded black belt to tie it all together. Bright colors, beaded detailing, plenty of shimmer, and ace basics round out their offerings, which can only be described as tres chic.
