On a single block-long street at the edge of Little Italy, luxury womenswear boutique No.6 is as charming and unique as its neighborhood. The artful pieces found inside offer that little something extra - a brilliant print, unique detail, or unexpected silhouette - that sets them apart, and warrants their inclusion on the racks of this distinctive store. One can tell that a lot of thought goes into selecting these pieces - as a lot of skill went into creating them - and that the woman who shops here feels (and looks) right at home at one of the many nearby Soho art galleries.
No.6 stocks an impressive array of international designers - from well-known to emerging names - as well as vintage pieces, and the store’s own signature line of clothing and shoes. While there may not literally be “something here for everyone,” (and definitely not everyone’s budget), there is certainly something here to tempt, delight, or inspire everyone who visits.

Upon entering the store, we were met with a rack of vibrant separates, including mint green knits and a fabulous pair of ombre sequined trousers from up-and-coming New York label, Priscavera. Our eyes then wandered over to a beautiful selection of Julia Heuer’s micro-pleated kaftans and blouses in bright Arashi Shibori (Japanese tie-dye) florals - in a word, they are magical. For summer, weightless voile dresses in bold plaids from Japanese designer Koji Makino would be perfectly breezy on a scorching day in the city, while Australian label Ephemera’s super-feminine gingham swimwear seems destined for a long weekend in the Hamptons (or the Gold Coast!).
One cannot visit No.6 without checking out their latest selection of signature brand clogs, which have garnered a near cult following. From a pair of closed-toe heels in leopard-print cow hair, to a more traditional black leather open-toe wedge option, No.6 is a go-to for this comfortable, born again shoe trend.
With soft lighting, ample seating, and a playlist of calming tunes, No.6 offers a peaceful atmosphere for shopping their rare fashion finds.
