Polka Dots & Moonbeams

With a name like Polka Dots & Moonbeams, you already know this boutique is going to offer up a decidedly unique point of view. Take one step inside of its bubblegum pink walls, and you’ll immediately understand what that is. To offset its sweet choice of paint hue, the spacious shop is outfitted with white crown molding, distressed wooden floors, white display tables and racks, and a handful of crystal chandeliers suspended from the ceiling at its center. To say the place oozes feminine shabby-chic energy would be an understatement. Well lit, spacious, and housing ample dressing rooms in the back, it’s a comfortable place to shop for new and vintage bohemian wears.

           

Speaking of, their selection of floral prints is truly unparalleled. From a drop waist midi dress by ULF to a long sleeved maxi dress by For Love & Lemons to a ruched peasant top by Skylar Madison to a halter neck romper by Late Night Gypsy, the number of silhouettes and styles they have in botanical patterns would make any flower child’s jaw drop. Pair any of the aforementioned styles with one of their wide brim hats and a pair of AJ Morgan aviator shades, and watch as your spirit feels instantly freed.

Also in the shop: An array of eye-popping vintage scarves, upcycled tie dye sweatshirts, colorful beaded creations by Caitlin Nicole Jewelry, shorts and jeans by Just Black Denim, a selection of consignment bags, the occasional vintage designer treasure (think a Moschino denim trench or suede Ralph Lauren mini skirt), and so much more. Everything is fairly priced, so there’s no reason not to succumb to the pink and pop in.
