Sept Cinq

Audrey Gallier and Lorna Moquet may have been young when they first met on the school benches in Paris, but these budding entrepreneurs were sure of one thing back even back then - that they were destined to follow their passions together and create a powerhouse concept store one day called Sept Cinq.

           

Opened in 2012 and located at the bend of the lively streets of South Pigalle, Sept Cinq focuses on stocking the creations of Parisian makers. Whether it’s tortoise-shell statement earrings, cashmere mittens, or handmade embroidery kits, everything found inside this adorable boutique is 100% authentically Parisian-made (because after all, who can do it better than the French?).

While the shop may have grown exponentially since its humble beginnings, founders Lorna and Audrey still maintain creative control over the store’s offerings. Eagle eyes for what’s new and next, there are rarely any misses in their extensive lineup. “Paris Baby!” coffee-mug? An obvious impulse buy. Adult day-of-the-week underwear? What a gift. And a ceramic panda bear salt and pepper shaker set? Not sure who needs this, but we're buying it.

Charming boutiques in Paris are a dime a dozen (aren’t we so lucky?), but charming boutiques with unique inventory and charming customer service? Now that’s something we're excited to write about.
