Shop in enough boutiques and they’ll all start to blur together….. Shishi is the exception. This Upper West Side gem has been voted the best “cheap and chic” boutique in NYC, and for good reason. Stocking a funky yet elegant combination of casual wear, dresses, and accessories, you’ll be hooked after your first visit.
Shishi’s product range is wide, covering everything from camo-print joggers to ball gowns. So whether you attend a lot of galas (which in that case, lucky you) or just want to hit the reset button on your everyday wardrobe rotation, they’ve probably got what you need.
The store is small, yet impossibly chic with gunmetal colored walls, black-and-white checkered floors, and plush drapery. Overstuffed wine-red settees and crystal chandeliers scattered around the store only add to the luxe ambiance. But while the store atmosphere might scream “RICH,” the price tags sure don’t.

At most stores, it’s hard enough to find a sales associate to open a fitting room for you, let alone give you personalized styling advice. At Shishi, the staff will help you pick the perfect ensemble but are not afraid to tell you when it just isn’t working on you. It’s the kind of store energy that will make you feel like you’re just sitting in your best friends living room.
Ranking a solid score due to their unique assortment, lavish ambiance, and top tier customer service, Shishi has little room to improve. Fair prices AND nice people? You’ll hardly believe you’re still in the middle of New York City!
