With a worldwide lockdown setting in place just weeks before launch, founder Telsha Anderson knew that even a pandemic couldn’t stop her from following her dreams. After a few twists and turns (including an e-commerce site designed in less than 24 hours), t.a. finally opened its stunning Meatpacking showroom in July of 2020.

Despite the whirlwind launch, t.a. hit the ground running, topping several best boutique lists within days of opening. A concept store catering to the woman-identifying community of New York, Telsha describes the boutique as a “renewed outlook towards luxury living.” One look inside the airy interior, painted in rich gem-tones and dotted with colorful mix-match furniture, and you’ll understand the vibe she’s going for.
With both established labels and up-and-coming names, t.a.’s offering gloats brands like Ellery, Ottolinger, Wesley Harriot, and PRISCAVera. Rainbow wrap gowns, beaded crop-tuxedos, and oversized sun hats are a few standouts, although their simple tunics and asymmetrical sundresses should not be overlooked. With prices ranging from roughly $200 for a tank top to upwards of $1,200 for a fitted blazer, t.a.’s expert curation does come at a cost. But for this type of quality and style, it might very well be worth the price tag.
