One part Scandinavian-inspired cafe, one part quaint Parisian boutique, The Broken Arm is pretty much all you could look for in a Saturday afternoon shopping spot (and arguably one of the only places you can sip artisan hot chocolate while browsing chinos and cashmere cape coats).

Opened in 2013 and located in the upper Marais, the charming concept store is a beacon of natural light and the warm scent of fresh-baked scones. Their roster of labels is short but sweet for a typical Paris boutique, but hits all the names you need to pimp out your closet. It’s no easy feat to merchandise Prada, Jacquemus, Bottega Veneta, and Maison Margiela next to Nike and ASICS, yet somehow The Broken Arm pulls it off.
Step inside the darling storefront and you’ll probably feel like you’ve stepped inside your “Dream Home” Pinterest board. Minimalist to the max, the multicolored array of trench coats and trousers are perfectly juxtaposed against the all-white walls and simplistic shelving. A few racks of Prada and a chaise or two are all it takes for this place to feel oh-so-special.
A multicolored Maison Margiela sleeveless sweater makes for the perfect mid-week pick-me-up, while a butter-colored pair of Bottega Veneta Almond Pumps aren’t just a want, they’re a need. And if you’re really in the mood to #treatyoself, opt for the berry crumble with homemade whipping cream. It’s certainly not health food, but we’d argue it’s worth every. single. calorie.
