Established in 1996 by founders Sam Robinson and Sarah O’Keefe, The Cross has fostered the same mission since day one - to shine a light on the most colorful and creative up-and-coming brands and aim for lasting style over fleeting trends. Paisley prairie-dresses, toucan-print totes, and rainbow-striped vintage-inspired cashmere cardigans are just a handful of finds that caught our eye. And of course, a well-deserved shout out to the “grown-up” beaded friendship bracelets we all wish someone would gift us.

As one of London's first lifestyle boutiques, The Cross offers an eclectic mix of quirky trinkets, apparel, and gifts that keep its loyal customers coming back for more. Their range of peculiar finds is impressive, but their curation of brands is what really takes the cake. Shop handmade tote bags made in Africa by Ondine Saglio, fall in love with gingham blouses by Justine Tabak, or shake things up and splurge on some artisan matches by Archivist Gallery. Even window shoppers can leave with something - a new whole list of brands to keep their radar.

Set against the backdrop of the spotless, tree-lined streets of Holland Park, this charming, two-story loft on the corner of Portland Road is the type of place you wander into on a sunny weekend day when you have nowhere to be and lots of time to browse. An adorable and quintessentially London exterior is only just the beginning. Once you step inside, you'll be greeted with candy-colored pom-pom garlands, ombre Japanese lanterns, neon lights, and even disco balls. Like a rainbow on a cloudy day, we dare say it's impossible not to have a smile on your face while shopping at The Cross.
