Best-friend duo Petra Verwall and Sanne Overmaat used to spend their weekends and spare afternoons strolling through thrift stores digging for funky finds and quirky home decor. So in 2012, they decided to put their secondhand-shopping skills to good use and hosted their first pop-up event reselling the finest thrift gems they had acquired. With that, Things I Like Things I Love was born.

From day one, the duo has kept a singular goal in mind - to fill their stores with everything they like and love. Selling vintage pieces alongside their own private label, each and every piece that makes it onto the sales floor has been carefully selected by the founders themselves. And might we say, they’ve got a great eye.
When it comes to their selection of vintage, if you see something you like, act fast! With a lightning-speed turnover rate, there's a good chance it won’t be there tomorrow. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of finding a one-of-a-kind vintage piece, although their private label items can definitely hold their own. Immediate standouts in their selection include an army-green faux-leather mini-dresses, lime-colored leopard-print sherpa coats, and flare pants in every print and pattern imaginable.
Amsterdam certainly has no shortage of hipster secondhand shops and comfort-focused brands, but all too often their price tags are a bit out of range. Lucky for us, that isn’t the case at Things I Like Things I Love. Refreshingly affordable, ever-changing, and always trendy, you’ll find prices you like for items you love.
