Venture into Two Old Hippies on any given day for a small purchase like a candle or Nashville keepsake and you may end up leaving with a custom guitar and sighting of Taylor Swift. While Two Old Hippies only opened its doors in 2011, it’s already achieved a reputation in the Nashville community as a landmark. Country couture, premium guitars, and live music 5 nights a week, this place seems like the most Music City thing ever.

Sprawling for what seems like miles, the store itself is an experience in itself. Rock n’ Roll memorabilia and psychedelic tapestries engulf all open wall space, while leather loveseats, country decor, and a rainbow-painted vintage VW bus dot the spacious sales floor. For the die-hard music lovers, the iconic “vault”, packed floor-to-ceiling with premium guitars in every size, shape, and color imaginable is an attraction that can't be missed. It’s no wonder tourists from across the globe and almost every name in country music find their way here every year.
A “general store” of sorts, their curation is a quirky gumbo of everything shabby-chic. Leopard-print flare pants for the ladies, Gringo boots for the boys, and music-themed candy for the kids. As long as you don’t mind shopping alongside leather-sandal wearing, oat-milk latte sipping hipsters, then we think you’ll love Two Old Hippies just as much as we do.
