You may know Kristin Cavallari from her stint on MTV's hit show Laguna Beach, but aside from her reality TV career, she’s also the founder and CEO of one of Nashville’s most popular boutiques, Uncommon James. Established in 2017, Uncommon James’ mission is to bring “timeless, effortless, and refined jewelry to women on‑the‑go” and boy do they accomplish that goal.

While Kristin may be a multi-millionaire with a personal-styling team at her disposal, she understands that most of us are on a slightly more conservative budget. With every item in the shop falling under $75, every shopper can have a piece of the action. Made of delicate metals and understated gemstones, their dainty jewelry is designed to look equally chic worn alone, layered with coordinating items from the collection, or even styled with pieces of your own.

           

Whether you’re dropping $75 on a flashy gold link necklace or just picking up some cowrie-shell bobby pins for $20, they package up every purchase in an adorable pink-velour pouch. Think Uncommon James couldn’t get any cuter? Take a peek at their “Little James” section. Picture this: blush-colored flare-leg overalls….for babies. The roomy store would be worth a trek out on it’s own, but it happens to already be located in one of the most walkable areas in the city, The Gulch. Surrounded by lively restaurants (grab a burger at Stock & Barrel next door!) and an eclectic mix of other shops, making a pit stop at Uncommon James is practically a no-brainer. Finding a boutique as splendid as Uncommon James is….well, pretty uncommon.
